FLEXIBLE CONVEYORS
Our full range of available sizes from 55mm up to 200mm and an assortment of screws ranging from rounds, heavy duty rounds, flats, wide flats and bevelled edge constructed from 304 stainless steel. Outer casings are manufactured from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene and Polypropylene. For very abrasive applications stainless steel or carbon steel outer tubes are available. Conveyor capacities up to 55m3/hr are achievable.
A flexible conveyor can convey material in any direction to bend under / over and around obstacles. Whether conveying horizontally or vertically the conveying tube and screw can be installed easily in any direction.
Gentle conveying without segregation or degradation is achieved through screw / tube combinations matched to suit your application. The continuous mixing action created by the screw will not separate blends.
Fast thorough cleaning by removing the lower cleanout cap and running the conveyor in reverse removing product makes the Fresco flexible conveyor ideal for multiple ingredient applications. Full disassembly can be achieved very quickly which allows for sanitisation on the flexible screw and outer casing ensuring no risk of product contamination.
Folding cutting tables, dust hoods, grates and screens can be added to our standard and special hoppers to suit your application.
Fresco makes your flexible conveyor one of the lowest cost forms of materials handling available. The low cost flexible designs allow for installations not achievable with standard screw conveyors.
MOBILE FLEXIBLE CONVEYORS
Fresco makes your flexible screw conveyor totally portable by mounting the hopper and discharge head on a mobile frame fitted with locking castors. Each unit can be moved easily from position to position with very little effort. For larger units a towed attachment is available. Customised designs provide various heights and widths of the mobile frame to ensure you can access the tightest of locations.
Our designs incorporate counter weighted base frames which provide stability when moving throughout the plant. The mobile frames can be manufactured from stainless or carbon steel.
Onboard control systems allow for stand alone units or integration with plant wide PLC systems.
Special hopper designs with optional flow promotional devices provide constant feed into the conveyor for smooth quiet operation. Optional features such as vibratory motors, agitators, safety switches, level indicators enhance our standard conveyor providing versatility for a range of products and applications.
The easy clean quick removal cleanout cap fitted with a safety switch provides safe thorough cleaning quickly and efficiently. The conveyor can then be washed or air cleaned in-situ or dismantled for a more thorough clean.
